What is the greatest moment in your life?
Was it when you graduated from college, your wedding, or when your first child was born?
Maybe it was when someone treated you like a hero because you won a contest, scored the same winning goal, or secured a large contract?
How often do you think of that moment? How often do you try to relive it?
Yesterday we talked about having a more positive mindset through positive emotions. While thinking of our great moments in life can make us more positive, it can also make us more negative.
When we think about our wedding day and wonder why our significant other doesn’t look at us longingly anymore, when we think about how no one high fives us anymore because they have forgotten about the game winning goal, or that we sit at a desk all day and no one thanks us for brining in that huge contract, what is happening?
We think about those “greatest moments” and ask ourselves why we don’t have them anymore.
The Greatest Moment in Our Life Is . . .
It is my belief that every moment is the greatest moment in our life. Every breath we take is amazing, because statistically we really shouldn’t be here. There are so many ways that our lives could have ended, so to be here now is an amazing feat.
The moments you remember are something to be grateful for, but consider how great it is to be alive right now. You are breathing, reading, and able to write comments on this blog. You are ready to move forward.
So today, I want you to realize that right now is the greatest moment of your life and know that tomorrow I am going to share with you the single greatest stumbling block for most people when it comes to having a mindset that allows them to take massive action.
Are you ready for it?
Let me know in the comments that you are ready for tomorrow.
