The Source of Every Outcome

Yesterday I wrote about the first step in changing your mindset and taking massive action, knowing where you want to go. If you did the exercise, you have a vision of where you want to go in your life.

If you are not living your ideal day, do you know why not? You clearly have a vision for where you want to go, but why are you not getting there?

I know some of the reasons, because I have said them myself, “I do not have enough money to get the tools I need to create my ideal day. I don’t know the right people, I don’t have the knowledge, or I don’t have the time to get done what I need to get done.”

Trust me. I have lived that mindset for the majority of my life.

So how do we change that?

There are no exercises to go with this today, but there are two ideas that I want you to ponder.

1. The source of every outcome in my life is me.
2. I am responsible for every outcome.

I know what you are thinking “I can’t help what happens to me.”

You are right.  You cannot control everything that happens to you, but you can and will from this moment on, control your reaction to what happens to you in life. When you know this, you live my second point and realize that you are responsible for every outcome in your life because it is directly related to the reactions you have to what happens to you.

You are responsible for the outcomes in your life. No one else is to blame.

“But you don’t understand the crap hand I have been dealt,” you might be saying.

You are right, I don’t understand, but I know that you can either continue to play with that hand or start to create a new mindset that allows you to take the massive action you need to get a new hand dealt to you.

If you are ready to move on in your life, know that you are the source of every outcome in your life and that you alone are responsible for them.

Tomorrow we will look at the first step in taking control of the outcomes and preparing to build the mindset we need to take massive action in our lives.
